Test Proctoring Procedure

Academic Integrity

To verify student identity and ensure academic integrity, all distance education courses (more than 50% delivered online) are required to administer at least one proctored graded event (exam, presentation, activity, etc.) each term. Students must show a picture ID. There is no charge if proctored for LTC or other TCSG colleges. Students are directly responsible for any costs associated with securing outside proctors, if applicable.

Course Syllabus

The course syllabus must include a proctoring section detailing the requirements, dates, and times of the proctored event. More detailed directions may be listed in the Learning Management System.

Options

At the instructor’s discretion, and using current technology, the proctored events may be offered:

1. On-Campus – The event is monitored live in the classroom.
2. Online Recorded – The event is monitored via a recording.
3. Online Live – The event is monitored online in real time.
